PESHAWAR:
Five people of a family were injured in a gas cylinder blast in Khattak colony on Saturday.
The bl
ast, caused by the leakage of gas from a cylinder, occurred in the house of a person identified as Hassan Noor. It resulted in injuries to five members of the family which included 70-year old Aslam Noor, 16-year
old Usma
n, 12-year-old Daniyal, 17-year-old Malayka and seven year-old Inshal.
Officials for Rescue 1122 said that the injured had initially been shifted
to the Lady Reading Hospital from where they had been referred
to the Burn Hospital in Wah Cantt for treatment.
