KARACHI: The
United States Consulate General JoAnne Wagner visited the Mazar-e- Quaid in Karachi and paid her respects to the founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Thursday.
Wagner laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum and signed the guestbook on behalf of the
United States.
The consul general noted, “I am honoured to visit this historic tomb and
to pay respects to Mohammed Ali Jin
nah and F
atima Jinnah. Today provided insights into their personalities while also reminding us of the Quaid-e-Azam’s legacy and his vision for a peaceful, tolerant, and prosperous Pakistan. Please accept my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for this visit.”
Wagner later visited the adjoining museum to appreciate exhibits related to the life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
