in the chair, Federal Minister Rana Tanvir Hussain moving the resolution demanded the federal
and provincial governments to take strict action against the perpetrators and facilitators of this heinous act including those m
aking hate speeches.
The resolution expressed the resolve to ensure that strong safeguards are inserted into the blasphemy law to prevent its abuse. It condemned all those who take law into their hands that result
in the loss of innocent lives.

Khurshid Shah said opposition wants strong institutions including the judiciary. He said the government does not appear to be serious in addressing the problems being faced by the people. He expressed concerns over power outages and water shortage
in the country.
He asked the government to address the problems of the nations. Pakistan People’s Party staged a walk out from the house over the disappearance of party’s workers. Proceedings of the house have been suspended due to the lack of quorum.
